{Cake Smash} with IHPOC | In Hot Pursuit of Color

We were so excited to celebrate Hudson's first birthday, and since we never had maternity or newborn photos, we decided that professional pictures were a must have.

We had the amazing opportunity to work with April Sauers at IHPOC {In Hot Pursuit of Color}. I shared my ideas of what I wanted and she was quick to accommodate us! She was amazing with Hudson, and as you will see below, incredibly talented! On top of it all, I love that she is a photo journalist; capturing every moment, and every detail. Her work tells a story from beginning to end.

 I can't stop looking at these pictures, as they capture Hudson's cake smashing experience so well. So many laughs were had this day as we watched Hudson tear apart that cake. What an amazing memory to document.
